ABOUT US

MANUFACTURAS POLISAC SA, founded in 1966 by Antonio Navarro, is a pioneering company in manufacturing plastic packaging and containers.

Located in Segovia

Located at the heart of the Iberian Peninsula, in Segovia, our site measures some 10,000 m², with about 8,000 m² given over to factories and offices.

Plastic mailing bag manufacture

We are the biggest Spanish manufacturer (and one of the largest in Europe) of courier bags and security envelopes for banks. We export more than half of our products to numerous countries in Europe, Africa and South America.

PROCESSES

At Manufacturas Polisac, we perform the manufacturing process end-to-end: from transforming polyethylene pellets into film, applying superior photo-quality print, and finishing the product, with the inclusion of different adhesives, or side or bottom weld (double, single or flat), in response to our clients’ needs. We can add sequential codes and barcodes, until a suitable end product is obtained.

Extrusion

We have state-of-the-art machinery for single-layer films and coextrusion, suitable for manufacturing with virgin, recycled or biodegradable materials, as our clients require.

Printing

Our equipment uses the latest technology in printing systems, to produce photographic quality at 400 m/min and in up to eight colours.

Finished product

We have a range of state-of-the-art, high-speed machinery (up to 200 cuts per min), and coding equipment, which enables us to produce a wide assortment of packaging to satisfy even the most demanding requirements.
